AGES 4 – 9 THE ARISTOCATS

Madame’s jealous butler Edgar cat-naps Duchess and her Aristokittens and
abandons them in the Parisian countryside. What’s a cat to do? Luckily, Thomas
O’Malley and his rag-tag bunch of Alley Cats come to their rescue! Director:

These casts will perform once and are available for registration on a first come
first serve basis. You DO NOT AUDITION in order to participate in these casts.

When his parents get divorced and he’s forced to move from N.Y. to a small town
in Indiana, Evan just wants to make friends and survive the school year. Easier said than done. "13" is a hilarious, high-energy musical for all ages about discovering that cool is where you find it, and sometimes where you least expect it.

For the audition: Bring sheet music to 16 bars of music from any upbeat musical theater or rock song of your choice. You will also be taught a dance combination and will read a short scene. Ages 9 – 13 :ONE ACT PLAY WORKSHOP
Students will rehearse a one act play that will culminate in a performance Riverspace. This will be a dramatic production. No singing or dancing in this show – only acting…

Ages 13 – 18: DROWSY CHAPERONE- Tuition $400

  • Auditions: Sunday, September 19, 2pm – 5pm

    Performances: December 3 – 4
  • By audition only – Drowsy Chaperone begins when a die-hard musical-theater fan plays his favorite cast album on his turntable, and the musical literally bursts to life in his living room, telling the rambunctious tale of a brazen Broadway starlet trying to find, and keep, her true love.

LOWER HUDSON VALLEY YOUTH CHORUS

The Lower Hudson Valley Youth Chorus is a local group of over 50 friendly and
talented children ages 6-16 who share a love for music and singing. Under the
Direction of Jared Rosenblum, the Youth Chorus is the ideal way for your
children to begin their involvement in group singing or to continue developing
their studies and technique. We work on blend, music reading and singing in
three-part harmony while rehearsing to perform at many exciting events
throughout the year.

The chorus sings songs of many different styles including songs from GLEE, the
Beatles, Broadway shows, pop music, choral arrangements, and much more!

  • September 2010- June 2011 Sundays, 6:00-7:15pm

Clothing
Wear comfortable clothes that you can move in. No heels or backless shoes please. Dance classes require jazz shoes.

All classes are held at the Helen Hayes Studios: 142 Main Street (rear entrance)
Nyack, NY.

Walk to the back of the parking lot adjacent to the Franklin Antique Center. Look for our red banner. Park on the street since parking is not allowed in the parking lot next to our studios.
